Round-Up of 2011
As another year draws to a close it is probably time to reflect back on the year and forecast what will happen in 2012.
At Premier Consultants, 2011 has been a challenging but successful year. Our new website – 1 year old in March has received many accolades, including being nominated and then reaching the finals of the MARA Awards. Alas we did not win but the recognition that our site is considered highly within our industry is praise indeed and we intend to improve on its functionality and content in 2012.
Despite all the doom and gloom, certain markets industries and companies and gone from strength to strength and we have been fortunate to help these businesses in finding their key staff in our core markets of marketing, CRM, Online, e-commerce, retail and analysis. We have continued to forge strong relationships with several major companies who have given us ‘Preferred Supplier’ status and a select number work with us exclusively on their vacancies. As a result of a busy December we have plenty of new instructions and are aware of more positions needing to be filled early in the New Year which will mean a brisk start for us!
Like most other businesses it is very difficult to gauge how 2012 will pan out. The Diamond Jubilee, Euro 2012 and the Olympics will be major attractions (or distractions!) for the market and it is impossible to ignore the continued crisis in the Eurozone. All these could have negative effect on the recruitment market from early in the year. We are though anticipating further growth in e-commerce, customer insight and believe that analytics will play an even more central role in marketing; all areas we have expertise and importantly a good network to tap into! If our forecast proves correct then we intend to grow the team further.
It leaves us to say thank you for using our services this year and wishing you a very happy Christmas and healthy and prosperous New Year.
Antony, Russell, Sanda, Leo, Colin.
