Russell graduated from Middlesex University with a BA Hons in Business Studies. He joined Management Personnel in 1983 becoming Manager of their West End office in 1987, he began recruiting in the Direct Marketing arena at the same time. In 1989 Russell joined The Lloyd Group building the DM Division & became a Board Director in 1995, joining Premier Consultants in 2000. He was one of the first people to begin recruiting within the e-commerce industry and is widely recognised as an 'expert' within CRM recruitment. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Direct Marketing and in his spare time produces and presents radio shows for specialist music internet stations.
