Executive Search
Executive Search has traditionally been an effective method of identifying executives across a wide range of disciplines and industries for senior appointments i.e. Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Marketing Director etc. Premier Consultants recognised that over the past decade our clients' resourcing requirements, coupled with the increased competitive demands of the recruitment marketplace, required us to extend this search process to 'hone in' on individuals at the mid-management level Even in today’s challenging market conditions this approach still remains crucial to filling key roles in clients’ organisations.
Our Approach
The process begins with a full understanding of the role. Normally this is done face to face. A comprehensive understanding of the role is vital.
Key considerations include:
- Job Function
- Reporting structures
- Key duties and responsibilities
- Career prospects
Where necessary Premier Consultants can prepare a comprehensive job specification in a format that will aid in the identification of the executive and provide a template to assist both the company and individual in understanding the key performance indicators required for the role.
Once this has been agreed Premier Consultants will assign a dedicated research team to identify executives within the targeted list of companies or chosen market sector using our extensive network of senior and mid level sources, which whom we are able to liaise with rapidly to fulfil requirements speedily . We then evaluate candidates, initially conducting a telephone screening and then face-to-face interview. Candidates that meet the agreed criteria are then forwarded to you with an assessment. Premier Consultants will then manage the interview process through to offer stage.
Once the successful candidate has started we will continue to monitor how the successful candidate is progressing in the business.
